Prophetess Eugenie Simmons

Eugenie Simmons known to some as “Genie” is a native of Brooklyn, NY born to Peggie O'Neal Williams and the late Douglas Williams, who later relocated to North Carolina.  She is married to Apostle Maurice Simmons of 26 years.  She is a graduate of Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Eugenie like many others ran from the calling on her life while faithfully serving under the leadership of Pastor’s Douglas and Debra Cogdell at White Plains Church Ministries, Belhaven, NC.  The Lord continually pulled at her heart while diligently serving as a leader for the finance team, choir, praise team leader, appointment secretary, and armor bearer to Copastor Debra Cogdell.  In 2003 she humbly accepted the call to ministry in which later that year she was licensed as a minister.

In 2005 she and her family stepped out on faith with no housing and no employment lined up relocating to Hampton, VA.  After transitioning to Virginia she assisted in ministry as her husband served as pastor for two years in the Church of God in Christ.

Eugenie received a certification in theology under the School of Apostolic Leadership Training Academy (S.A.L.T. Academy) under the tutor ledge of Apostle Timothy Harrell, Sr. of Virginia Beach, VA.  While serving under his spiritual leadership she served as a greeter, leader on the finance team, and an Intercessor/Prayer Warrior on the Intercessory Prayer Team lead by Elder Devette “Dee” Wright (spiritual mentor).

In September 2011 Eugenie was ordained as an Evangelist and elevated by God to the office of Prophet January 2017.  Along-side Prophet Maurice Simmons the Lord pressed upon their hearts to give birth to Restoration and Truth Ministries (RTM), Hampton, VA under the direction of their spiritual covering to go forth in ministry.  RTM is a ministry without walls created to bring restoration and reconciliation through the word of God to the lost, hurting, and to teach truth to the body of Christ for edification.

Eugenie Simmons will tell you she does not speak with enticing words, however, she believes in ‘keeping it real’.  She is a woman of God who is a worshiper, teacher, prayer warrior, and an intercessor who has a heart of compassion for other women and desires to encourage and pull them up and out of their hurt through prayer and through the power of the word of God.  She believes that the body of Christ has lost focus and need to go back to their first love of reaching the souls of the lost.

One of many scriptures dear to her heart is, “Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies.  You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me.  The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.  Don’t abandon me, for you made me.”  {Psalms 138:7-8, NLT}
